We once had dirt as our landscape and now we actually have grass, trees, shrubs, and flowers!

Christmas Tree FHE

For Family Home Evening on Monday we decorated our Christmas tree! Mom & Dad enjoyed decorating the tree and even let us boys help. After we were finished Mom & Dad enjoyed cookies and pumpkin bread while we were stuck with our formula! Not fair!

Progress, Progress, and More Progress

Outside Progress:

Roof, windows, and Doors - 9/15Driveway and bottom layer of stucco - 9/18
Rock on the outside and something he's putting on - 9/21

Colored Stucco, garage door, painted front door, outside lights, and gutters - 9/24

Inside Progress:

Drywall and stairs complete - 9/15
Textured walls - 9/18

Railing and molding - 9/20
Vinyl flooring in the bathrooms and laundry room, wood in the kitchen and entry way, paint, light fixtures, garage door opener, light switches, and the very long and loud doorbell!

What's left? Cabinets, carpet, and all the finishing touches. Walk through next week and then closing around Oct 5th. We're couldn't be more excited.

Fast Framing

Cody took the first couple of pictures on Wednesday and they were done with the framing on Friday! They are crazy fast. We also got a call on Thursday from our builder letting us know that our estimated closing date will be October 8th! That's 4 weeks away. We're so excited.

Sorry the last couple of pics are blurry. We stopped by our house on our way to Vegas and it was dark. I guess I don't have a steady hand.

How Firm a Foundation

60 days to go!! We can't wait.

90 Days...

Until we are officially home owners. Yup, we are building a home in Lehi. We are so excited to be moving to a house and I'm sure the boys will enjoy their own yard! We've been looking to move into a home for the past year and a half and almost bought a townhome 6 months ago. We are so glad we waited!

Above is our lot which is a corner lot that gives us more grass and below is the model home which is exactly what the outside of our house will look like.

We can't wait to watch it go up and of course we'll post about it! Yay for no more renting!
