That's a long ways apart!!!

My parents mission is to serve within the International Teacher Education Progran, Church Education System and the Perpetual Education Fund. They will be teaching BYUH education courses to teachers at the Church School in Vaiola. They are also in charge of institute on the island.

It was hard saying bye to my parents but we are so excited for them and proud that they are serving. The people of Samoa are very lucky to have them but I'll definitely be ready to have them back after 18 months.

The boys obviously don't really understand what my parents are doing but we talk about their mission in family home evening and have showed them where they are. It's weird to think that Cartrey will be 4 and a half and Jaid will be 19 months old when my parents return.

Cody and I would love to go visit them in Samoa but two round trip tickets to get there and back is $3300. Ouchy! We'll see!
