Back in November we enjoyed the unusual warm weather and went to Neptune Park. It's probably one of the boys' favorite parks. Carter is a little monkey and loved to climb the big pyramid. Trey wasn't a fan of it and only went up a little ways. It's so fun to see them learn new things and enjoy life.

Almost 3
The boys are 3 in a week (22nd) and I can't believe it! When did they get so big??? We've been missing for the last month in the blogging world so below is a little of what we have been up to.
I really wanted to do a post dedicated to the boys' and my daily routine. But I have a feeling that wont happen. I wanted to remember what our lives were like with just the boys. We have such a great routine and I'm nervous for it to be dramatically destroyed. But we will just need to create a new routine with Baby Girl.
The boys wake up around 7am and play in their room until they are ready to come out. Carter normally knocks on the door and I let them out. Then I get back in bed and lay there while they play trains until they come and tell me they are ready for breakfast. I am not a morning person!
For breakfast we go through a rotation of food. Cereal and milk, cereal mixed with yogurt, eggs and toast, french toast, pancakes, waffles, and cottage cheese and peaches. It always seems that we end breakfast about 9 am. The boys then put their dishes in the sink and go play cars in the living room while I clean up the kitchen.
They then play either inside our outside until 10:30 when they watch cartoons. I only let them watch PBS shows and their normal line up is Word World, Sesame Street, and Super Why. Then we either read books or play or go for a walk to the park until lunch time at 1:00.
I start to put them down for a nap at 1:30 and they are usually asleep by 2pm and sleep until 4. Then we play some more or go to the park if it's nice and start making dinner around 4:45 and get excited for Daddy to get home at 5:15.
We eat dinner, clean up, and depending on the night the boys rough house with Daddy until it's time for bed at 8pm.
There are variations of course in our daily routine. Like Mondays are usually a stay at home day, Tuesdays we run errands and go grocery shopping, Wednesday nights Cody has Scouts and sometimes the boys go with him, Thursdays are play date day with Annie & Eli, and Friday is clean the house day with pizza and movie night. Saturdays are yard work and working around the house.
So there is our life in a nutshell. It's all about to change with a new baby. I'm really nervous but we can do it. It'll be fun to see how baby girl changes our lives.
