No babies yet, sorry! If I could of had them by now I would have. I never thought that I would make it full term with these boys. All my doctors didn't think I'd make it to 34 weeks let alone 37!! Shows you what they know. So at 34 weeks I went off the anti-contraction medicine and was to let "nature take it's course". Well, nature had a different idea. It's idea was to make me as uncomfortable as possible. I have never been so uncomfortable or in constant pain! I have a baby between my legs and I've been dilated to a 4 for 3 weeks now and my body is doing nothing.
Sometimes I have contractions and they can get pretty regular and painful and we get excited but they don't do a single thing to me. I am stuck at a 4 and need to be induced but no one will listen to me. I hate to complain because I am so blessed and grateful to be pregnant. I'm just emotionally and physically done. I am measuring 48 weeks big and I can't believe these very active boys have not broken their water yet. It feels like they are trying to break out their own way.
So you can all stop praying that the babies will stay in me now and pray they will come asap! I have an appointment tomorrow morning with my Peri and I'm praying every minute that she will have a heart and induce me! My doctor doesn't come back from vacation until next week and he said he'd induce me when he got back but we'll see. So that is what is going on in Cody's and my life right now. I stare at the wall all day on bed rest waiting for my body to go into labor and Cody works and comes home to try and soothe his distressed pregnant wife. I feel like I'm going to be pregnant forever! haha
On a happy note - my parents fly in tonight and I'm excited! I'm not staying in this weekend, I'm going out. I just hate when people stare cause I'm so big! Some people need to learn sensitivity! Yes I know I'm huge and yes I know I look like I'm about to pop. I just need to wear a sign that says "Yes, I'm having Twins... stop staring".
PS. Please don't think this post is me being upset or mad. I'm actually making fun of myself and Cody and I laugh at how big I am and how I waddle and put my hands out to balance myself. It's all in fun! Making fun of myself helps relieve the stress and frustration :)
