We spent Easter at home this year just our little family. My OB wouldn't let me travel as I was having complications and he was worried about me going into labor either on the side of the road or in Blanding. Actually, his exact words were, "We don't want to chance loosing baby and mom on the side of the road." Umm.. scary!
We found out that we couldn't leave town the morning of the day we were supposed to leave. The boys were so excited to go to Blanding for Easter. They had been talking about it for weeks and when I realized I'd have to tell them we had to stay home I'll admit I cried. I felt so bad that I was letting the boys down and keeping them from a fun weekend.
So we tried our best to make the weekend fun for them. We did pretty good but we still missed out on all the fun Webb Easter traditions and their company.
Coloring Eggs
 |
| We're pretty simple with our egg dyeing and coloring. It only took us 20 minutes to color all 9 eggs. Wow it was fast. It usually takes us like 2 hours with the Webbs. |
Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt
 |
| There was only this little area roped off for 0-3 years of age but it turned out that 3/4 of the kids there were 0-3. Lets just say that they both got like 2 eggs each. They weren't very aggressive. |

| Try #2 |
 |
| Finally we got some teeth but not 100% successful with a smile. We'll keep trying. |

| I just love this pic. Look how Trey is taller!! |
Below is a cool video Cody made of the egg hunt. Enjoy! Just ignore the fat prego lady in the video, I'm not sure who that is.
