Summer in a post

We met up with some old friends from college and

Cody got to do some climbing and fishing

 Of course snow cones were a weekly thing.

 Rode Frontrunner to Salt Lake and

hung out with family

 Played at the splash pad and pool

Baked with mom and

went to the Lehi Rodeo

 Caught a movie and

an Owls game

 Visited BYU and

Bridal Veil Falls

 Enjoyed Lagoon and

lazy mornings in bed

Gateway Museum

Joeli and I decided to take the kids on the Frontrunner Train up to the Gateway Children's Museum. It was an adventure to get up there let me tell you. What should have been an easy 45 minute trip to get there turned into a 2 hour ordeal. The train stopped half way up at the South Jordan stop and we were told that it would not be going any further north. There was something on the track and it would be going back south. We had two options. We could either get off and get on a bus that would take us to the Trax or ride the train home. We debated on what to do but in the end we got off the train and braved the bus ride and Trax for another hour. The kids did pretty well but we were a circus with 6 kids between the two of us. Thankfully the trip home went as planned.

 We finally made it and the kids had a blast. The museum was empty!!

The 4th

We spent the 4th in Lehi this year with Brooke and Shad. The rest of the Webbs went to Blanding. We celebrated by starting the day with a bike race for kids and a community breakfast. Then we headed to the Lindon pool which was surprisingly not that busy. We then had naps, did our own personal fireworks, and got dinner and took it to Thanksgiving Point where we enjoyed the big fireworks. It was a great day!
