It all began when Prince Joe asked Amanda the Movie-maker to help him make a movie for his future queen. On the day of the Prince and Movie-makers' first meeting, Prince Joe happened to stumble across a beautiful backyard where he instantly knew was the spot. So, the planning and continual lying to Princess Haven began. Within the next week, Prince Joe made preparations to surprise princess Haven and give her a fairytale proposal. With the help of Amanda the Movie-maker and Cody the Butler, everything was falling into place perfectly!
On Tuesday, Princess Haven thought she was driving up north to help her sweet and not evil sister in-law take care of the adorable twins at a business dinner showcasing the Princess' brother. Little did she know what was coming.
Earlier during the day, Prince Joe made the spot even more magical with tea candles, tiki torches, candles, flowers, an enchanted gazebo, music, and rose petals.

After hours of setting up, the spot was ready for Princess Haven's arrival.

As the sun started to set and it was getting closer to the Princess' arrival, Prince Joe was getting a tad bit nervous!!

When Princess Haven arrived and came down the back steps, she was met by a beautiful walkway of candles and roses. But Princess Haven was running late as all Princesses seem to be and passed her walkway and walked right into the house. After a phone call and some instructions, Princess Haven found the walkway and followed it to her Prince.

Her beautiful ring perfect for any future Queen.

With a question and an answer of "Yes" and "Yay", Prince Joe & Princess Haven were officially engaged. What happens next... a candle light dinner of course served by the butler and the movie in the theater room (probably along with lots of kissing).

So as all fairytales go, Princess Haven got her fairytale Prince and proposal. They will be sealed in the Draper Temple November 28th where they will live happily together forever!

Footnote: The proposal pics were staged but Cody did hide in the bushes to film the whole thing for them to have forever. So cool! A special thanks to the Jenkins family for the proposal site and for letting us crash in their basement while the house is finished.
