An Anniversary & Birth

Cody surprised me and took the day off to celebrate our anniversary. It was such a fun day. I made Cody huevos rancheros for breakfast which he loved and begged me to make it again some day soon. We then headed to Thanksgiving Point to check out the tulip festival. I love the festival and the boys loved all the room they had to run around. Afterwards we ate at the deli and took the boys home for a nap!

After their nap my friend Joeli was kind enough to watch the boys so Cody and I could go shopping. Lets just say I haven't been shopping in forever and it was so much fun to walk into Buckle and not have two little boys getting into trouble. Leia helped me get some cute clothes for summer and the best was Cody didn't say a word about what I put on the counter. haha

Then we went to one of our favorite dinner destinations - Carrabbas! Their filet florentina is seriously the best steak I've ever had. After we hurried to the hospital to meet Baby Hayes and ended the night with a movie.  It was seriously one of the best days ever!

Thanks to Joeli and Leia for taking care of the boys so we could have a fun twin-free day! You guys are lifesavers.

Cody is totally in love with Baby Hayes! We all think he's baby hungry! He tells me that Baby Hayes needs him so we go down and visit a lot. Haven calls Cody the Baby Whisperer!
