My parents' little hut they lived in. It was probably one of the nicest houses on the island. It actually had running hot water, air conditioning, and a washer. They had two beds, kitchen table, and couches. The teachers that lived on the campus with their families slept and ate on the floor and washed and dried their clothes outside. They did actually have a shower and a toilet which is a luxury for Samoa.

I can try to explain the people that live on the campus of Vaiola but I can't do them justice. They are the nicest most loving people. They are always happy and just love life. While we were there for their mutual they did a cultural dance and relay race for us. They showed us how they make baskets and husk and milk coconuts. It was so fun to watch. At the end they made Cody and I get up and dance. You'll get to see that in the Samoa video Cody made.
The people there truly loved my parents and it made me feel so good that my parents were being loved like family.
