The beginning of 2013 was not good to us. We had the worst winter ever in our family's history. Carter and Trey got influenza B and were so sick for two weeks with high fevers, bad coughs, they couldn't breathe, and were so lethargic. They literally didn't move from the couch all day. The couldn't even sit up to eat. It was so sad.
Thankfully somehow Jaid didn't get it but she got a mild form of RSV. During all of this Cody also got a bad cold and I got strep. We now refer to that time as the black plague. It was rough but we're grateful they weren't worse and in the hospital like so many other kids that got influenza B.
Just a random picture of trying to keep them busy when they were feeling better but couldn't play with friends.
