We're headed back to the summer months of our fun in the sun. Here are some random things we did that were documented with my phone.
We took the boys to their first movie in a movie theater. We saw the new Winnie the Pooh movie and they loved it. It was about the perfect length for them. It wasn't until the last 10 minutes that Carter started walking around. The coolest thing we remember about this day is when the surround sound screen came on and the music got loud. The boys eyes got so big and they didn't know what to do. It was awesome. It's so fun to watch them have new experiences.
Cody took me on a date one Friday night to the Sundance Theater to see the Sound of Music. The musical was pretty good. Nothing outstanding but we loved it. It was fun to get to sing along with some songs. You might be surprised to know that Cody knows all the words to most of the songs. We love musicals. It was my first play up at Sundance and it was beautiful. So cool being up there in the mountain watching the play. Didn't hurt that they had some pretty good hot chocolate.
We have weekly play dates with Annie, Eli, and Max. This particular time is when we went to a park/splash park down in Spanish Fork. The boys loved these swings.
G&G Webb came up for Memorial weekend and we went to the Lehi Legacy center for some swimming.
We love ice cream at Costco!
Lots of peaches and cream this summer!!
On one of our weekly Sunday walks we found a caterpillar. The boys loved to hold the sick as long as the caterpillar didn't fall off.
One play date with Annie we met them down at the Springville Fire Dept. The boys got to see a fireman in his full gear and learn about the fire trucks.
