Hello Friends!! It's been a while, we are blogging slackers - sorry. So here is a little bit of what we've been up to and what is to come.
What we've been up to:
- We went to Lagoon last Friday!! Zrii (Cody's Work) took the whole company and their families to Lagoon during work hours. Yay! We love Zrii. We had a lot of fun. We went on rides - Wicked was the best, went to Lagoon A Beach, and won a $15 iTunes gift card at the Zrii company lunch. They gave away some pretty cool prizes. We really wanted the contents of the executive's pockets ($$$), but we got the gift card.
- Cody & I became Aunt & Uncle to Nephew #5!!! Jayson & Vita had a little boy on 8-8-08! What a cool birthday. Introducing Jaymes Harold Budgett, what a cutie!
- Friday night Cody and I watched the opening ceremony of the Olympics. It was amazing. If you didn't see it, I'm sorry but you missed out. The creative portion was so cool which we enjoyed while chowing down on Cafe Rio Salads... Yumm
- Cody has been enjoying his golf clubs. He went on Saturday morning with Landry and then this morning with a vendor. He's spoiled.
- Sunday night we had the McCleves over for dinner and then Wii games. Brookie is such a little cutie. We loved holding her, especially Cody.
- Last night I went to DQ with Annie and we got blizzards. Love DQ Blizzards and Annie's company. Shout out to Annie who graduates on Friday - you're free!
What's to come:
- Friday - Cody's family comes up to stay the weekend and a little of next week. We always love to see them!! Poor Haven has to get her wisdom teeth out!
- Amanda gets to read Breaking Dawn!!
- WASHINGTON!!! Saturday we leave early in the morning for my home where we will go to: Southwest Washington Fair where we'll eat funnel cakes with fresh peaches and whip cream, elephant ears, raspberry scones, the best teriyaki noodles, and enjoy being with the boys. We're also venturing up the west coast of WA and going to see the Olympic National Forest, Forks (Twilight anyone?) Port Angeles, taking a ferry to Victoria BC and staying the night, then riding the ferry over to Seattle through the San Juan Islands.
- Movie of our trip to WA!!
So there ya go. That's what is going on in our lives!

Just reading your post is making me hungry! You must be one amazing cook. It's good to hear from you.
Oh, I'm sad we'll miss you in WA, we'll be going up in Sept. But then again, we do live in the same town in Utah. We really need to have you two over!
